My first Between Two Islands mix, done in my living room with a non-software DJ rig and burned to a CD to give to my friends. It was ambitious of me to start with a song in 6/8 time, those aren’t very easy to mix! Working in MFSB and Dusty Springfield was proof that some of my favorite artists from years past could fit very comfortably into the Between Two Islands concept.
